Audio Publisher allows artists like Bob Schneider to make live performances available for sale on their website within minutes of upload to appliedSB’s Content Delivery Network. Combined with other appliedSB product offers, Audio Publisher gives artist’s the ability to implement on their own websites the most comprehensive and complete catalog of their digital content available on the internet today. The technology is being debuted by Bob Schneider (Rainmaker Artists).

As CD sales decrease, digital content in general and unique digital content especially are significant components to an artist’s revenue stream.

Features of Audio Publisher allow artists to upload and encode entire live performances, or selected tracks over several concert dates. When coupled with the artist’s e-commerce engine, these albums or tracks can be sold as new content, promotions for the purchase of other content, or redemptions for membership in fan clubs.

The tool provides management and artists an easy-to-use web-based interface to input metadata (album art, pricing, etc.) while allowing soundboard technicians to upload content quickly and efficiently. For the purposes of downloading the content itself, appliedSB offers content for sale either through a cart and/or store appliedSB creates for the artist or integration with the artist’s existing shopping cart via appliedSB’s AudioBank system. Content delivered to the end user customer using appliedSB’s Download Manager can automatically incorporate content into the customer’s existing media library.
